The Bath team that’s won Best International Installation four times

We’ve been recognised at the URC Unsurpassed Awards four times in six years — three times with Silver, once with Gold — every time in the Best International Installation category, judged across every entry submitted from outside the United States. Below is the evidence, the projects, and the press.

2026 — Silver, Best International Installation

12th Annual URC Unsurpassed Awards · Announced 3 September 2026 at CEDIA Expo, Denver

A dark, dated and underused basement cinema at a property in Midford, near Bath, rebuilt over eight weeks around the client’s existing Steinway Lyngdorf surround system. A new timber-framed acoustic front wall carries a much larger acoustically transparent screen, three walls were rebuilt for full acoustic treatment, and the interior was redesigned with Timorous Beasties velvet, Buster + Punch lighting and our CNC-cut Valchromat floor inlay. Everything runs on URC Total Control, linked to the main house. The room is now a family cinema, a professional viewing room and a BAFTA screening room.

2025 — Gold, Best International Installation

11th Annual URC Unsurpassed Awards · Announced 4 September 2025 at CEDIA Expo, Denver

Our highest URC win to date. A small Bath garage was converted into a fully-treated dedicated cinema room — 7.1 layout, Wisdom Audio in-walls, StormAudio Core 16 processor, full URC control, integrated lighting and acoustics. £250,000 build.

2023 — Silver, Best International Installation

9th Annual URC Unsurpassed Awards · Announced September 2023 at CEDIA Expo

A disused music rehearsal room in a Bath client’s home, turned into a hybrid cinema and high-end stereo listening room. The brief was musical equally to film — Wisdom L75 in-walls for the front three channels with a Wisdom STS subwoofer, calibrated to keep the stereo soundstage uncompromised while still delivering immersive surround.

7th Annual URC Unsurpassed Awards · Announced 2 September 2021

Hempstead House, north London — a whole-home AV, lighting, security, entry-system and control-system build for a private residence. URC Total Control end-to-end, invisible plaster-over speakers for multi-room audio, CCTV unified into the same control interface, full audio extension into the garden gym.
