A Technology Partner for Interior Designers & Architects
Your client wants a cinema, whole-home audio and lighting control — but not at the cost of the interior you have fought for. That is precisely the work we do. We are called Hidden Home Technology for a reason: speakers behind fabric walls and plaster grilles, screens that vanish, keypads matched to your ironmongery, and not a black box in sight.
For over two decades we have designed and installed home technology for beautiful homes across Bath, Bristol, the Cotswolds and London — working alongside interior designers, architects and main contractors who care about the finish as much as we do.
How we work with your studio
- One point of contact. You deal with Dan, the company director — not a rotating project team.
- Drawings and specification support, early. We work from your plans and issue clear technology drawings, cable schedules and provisioning specifications for your contractor before first fix, when getting it right costs nothing.
- Your design intent is the brief. We choose finishes, grilles and hardware to serve the scheme. If something cannot be hidden, we will say so and offer the least visible alternative.
- Tidy, scheduled site presence. We slot into your programme — first fix, second fix, commissioning — and leave the site as your client expects to find it.
- Direct or subcontract. We can contract with your client directly or work under the main contractor, whichever suits the project.
What your clients get
Dedicated home cinemas and media rooms · whole-home audio and video · lighting design and control · resilient home networking and Wi-Fi · smart-home control that one remote and one app can drive · room acoustics that make beautiful rooms sound as good as they look.
See the standard of finish
- A dedicated cinema in a Cotswolds period house — acoustic fabric walls, hidden speakers, period character intact.
- Whole-home audio and smart home in Englefield Green, Surrey — multi-room audio, whole-property Wi-Fi, one-remote control.
- A complete garden-room cinema in Gloucester — screen, immersive sound, acoustics and lighting in a garden building.

“The service received from Dan and Hidden Home Technology is excellent. The integrated audio system installed sounds amazing. After completion of the job the aftercare has been second to none.” — Giles Bright, ★★★★★ Google review
Builders, main contractors and developers
Much of our work arrives through the construction side: period-renovation specialists, high-spec main contractors and boutique developers who need the technology package designed, cabled and commissioned without drama. If that is you, the working method above applies — drawings first, clean first fix, and a finish your client will sign off.
Experience it before you specify it
Bring a client — or come alone — to our acoustically treated reference room in Bath, or our Basingstoke showroom, both by appointment. Hearing a properly treated room is worth a hundred brochures.

Yes — it is a core part of our work. We join at design stage, work from your drawings, and protect the design intent through to commissioning. You keep one point of contact throughout.
Can you work from our drawings and specifications?
Yes. Send your plans and we will return technology drawings, cable schedules and provisioning specifications for your contractor before first fix.
Do you contract with the client or through the main contractor?
Either. We are equally comfortable engaged directly by your client or working as a specialist subcontractor under the main contract.
Can our client experience the technology before specifying?
Yes. Our acoustically treated reference room in Bath and our Basingstoke showroom are available by appointment for private demonstrations.
Which areas do you cover?
