The Next-Gen NET is Innuos‘ high-end audiophile network switch, designed to complement the ZEN Next-Gen and ZENith Next-Gen servers and, in Innuos’ words, an exceptional option for Statement owners. It completes the Next-Gen system with a dedicated network foundation built to the same standard as the servers it partners.
The power supply matches the ZENith Next-Gen: a 300VA toroidal transformer with ARC6 active rectification, feeding four independent CX regulator modules so that the digital and analogue sections of the switch are powered separately. SmartStack vibration control, derived from the flagship Nazaré, isolates the transformers, and the asymmetric chassis is designed to stack with the Statement and the other Next-Gen units, including ZEN, ZENith and FLOW.
At its heart is the latest generation of the WaveNET board from the NazaréNET, with an SFP fibre port and custom firmware for ultra-low-noise operation. Innuos describe it as building on the NET3 implementation with improved power regulation and vibration control.
