The Naim Uniti Star Lite is Naim‘s all-in-one streaming amplifier. Naim calls it the natural evolution of the Uniti Star, and developed it as that model’s replacement once the CD mechanism the Star used was discontinued. A streamer, a 70W per channel Class AB amplifier and a 5-inch colour display share one case: add a pair of speakers and it is a complete system.
70W per channel into 8Ω at 0.1% THD+N, Class AB. Enough to drive a good pair of stand-mount or floorstanding speakers in a real room.
Spotify Connect, TIDAL and TIDAL Connect, Qobuz and Qobuz Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth, internet radio and UPnP, and it is Roon Ready, all run from the Focal & Naim app, with Google Assistant and Siri for voice. There is no CD drive, but it stores up to 20,000 tracks on a USB drive (an external SSD up to 1TB, or a stick up to 128GB) and serves them to other network players in the house. Party Mode keeps up to six Naim streamers in sync.
Anyone who wants a Naim system from one box and two speakers, playing from streaming services and a USB library. If you still play discs, a CD transport into one of its digital inputs keeps them in the system.
