The Mk3 refinement of Innuos’s popular ZENith streamer and server: a Triple-Linear power supply with Mundorf capacitors, dual isolated Ethernet and in-memory playback for a smoother, more spacious sound.
Description
Description
Overview
The ZENith Mk3 takes Innuos‘s well-regarded ZENith streamer and server further, aimed at the listener who wants a smoother, more relaxed presentation with a wider soundstage. It streams, stores and rips music from a single, carefully engineered unit, and its improvements concentrate on what matters most to a digital source: cleaner power, a quieter network path and lower noise. It sits among the more accomplished streamers at its level.
Design & build
The Mk3 uses a custom-made Innuos motherboard, reworked to remove sources of electromagnetic interference for a blacker background and greater realism. Asymmetrical isolation feet, derived from the flagship ZENith SE, with added treatment to the chassis and particularly the solid-state drive, combat the vibration that degrades a clean signal. A built-in slot-loading drive rips CDs directly to the library.
Sound & performance
The Mk3’s voicing is characteristically composed and spacious, the product of its power and isolation engineering rather than any added flavour. In-memory playback contributes here: with dedicated memory the ZENith loads music directly to RAM for playback, so the SSD is not engaged during listening—a measure Innuos ties to improved sound quality.
Key features
Dual Ethernet ports with isolation transformers provide an ultra-low-noise network connection: one port is the LAN input from the router, the other a dedicated streamer output that removes noise from the path to a downstream endpoint. A USB 2.0 output feeds a compatible DAC, a separate USB 3.0 port handles backup, and the ZENith supports MQA Core decoding and passthrough to full-decoder DACs.
Technology
The centrepiece is a Triple-Linear power supply, inspired by the ZENith SE, using ultra-low-noise regulators, premium Mundorf capacitors and a medical-grade mains filter for greater clarity. A quad-core Intel processor runs the Innuos Sense operating system, which is compatible with Roon as both Core and endpoint, and SSD capacities are offered to suit a range of libraries.

Who it’s for
The ZENith Mk3 is for the listener who wants a single, refined source to rip, store and stream a library—with the smoother, wider presentation its power and isolation engineering bring—feeding a quality outboard DAC. It suits systems resolving enough to hear the difference a quiet source makes.
