Overview

This is the Black edition of the official Gabriel® cover for the BW-2. It dresses the Lyngdorf BW-2 subwoofer — the compact sealed 10-inch model — in one of the five official Gabriel® colours, keeping the sub as presentable as the speakers it supports.

Colour & character

Black is the BW-2’s stealth setting — the colour supplied on the matte black version — and the right call wherever the subwoofer should simply not exist visually: under consoles, beside dark furniture, in media rooms lit for the screen.

The fabric

Gabriel of Denmark has been weaving since 1851, and its furniture-grade cloth covers speakers right across Lyngdorf’s ranges. On a subwoofer — a box that usually apologises for itself in a corner — the difference fabric makes is disproportionate.

Fit & use

The cover is tailored to the BW-2’s cabinet and swaps easily, so the sub can be re-dressed when the room changes — or refreshed after years of faithful, dusty service.
