The Lyngdorf BW-2 subwoofer in matte black with black Gabriel® fabric cover — sealed-box control, a 10-inch anodised aluminium driver and 400W of Class D muscle.
Lyngdorf’s BW-2 packs reference-minded bass engineering into a genuinely compact sealed box: a 10-inch long-throw driver, 400 watts of Class D power, and the control that only a closed cabinet gives. This is the matte black version with black Gabriel® fabric cover — the discreet classic.
The 14-litre enclosure is closed and constructed entirely of MDF — compact enough to hide beside furniture, inert enough to stay acoustically silent itself. Black on black, with the cover woven by Gabriel of Denmark (est. 1851), it disappears into shadow and dark joinery.
Through the line input the BW-2 covers 25Hz to 200Hz; through the bypass input — which defeats the internal filtering for systems where a processor or amplifier handles the crossover — it runs 25Hz to 800Hz. Maximum SPL is 106dB RMS, delivered with sealed-box tautness rather than ported bloom.
The driver is the star: 10 inches, long-throw, with a 50mm voice coil, deep anodised aluminium cone and a 2.4kg vented magnet, powered by a 400-watt RMS Class D amplifier matched to it.
Sealed cabinets roll off gently and predictably, letting room gain extend the response naturally — the behaviour that makes a sub musical rather than merely loud. In a Lyngdorf system with RoomPerfect™, the BW-2 is measured and corrected with the speakers it supports, not bolted on afterwards.
