The McIntosh MC830 Solid State Monoblock Power Amplifier delivers serious power and control in a compact, system-friendly form factor. Sharing a similar footprint to the MA252 Integrated Amplifier, the MC830 is designed for high-performance two-channel systems where space efficiency and speaker control are equally important.
Using a direct-coupled output design, the MC830 produces 300 watts into 8 ohms and 480 watts into 4 ohms, allowing it to drive demanding loudspeakers with confidence. A fast-responding Dual Scale Watt meter provides accurate real-time feedback for both impedance loads, reinforcing McIntosh’s focus on performance transparency and reliability.
Thermal stability is handled by McIntosh Monogrammed Heatsinks™, which efficiently dissipate heat while contributing to the amplifier’s distinctive visual identity. Both balanced and unbalanced inputs are provided, ensuring straightforward integration with high-quality preamplifiers and a wide range of system configurations.
Long-term speaker and system protection are central to the MC830’s design.
