The Sonus Faber Carrara stand is a purpose-made support for the Heritage Collection bookshelf loudspeakers — anodised aluminium columns on a Carrara marble base, engineered to place the speaker at the correct height with maximum stability.
The Carrara stand is Sonus Faber’s dedicated support for its Heritage Collection bookshelf loudspeakers, designed as a matched partner rather than a generic accessory. Named after the celebrated Italian marble it is built around, it raises the speaker to the correct listening height on a rigid, resonance-controlled platform — an integral part of getting the best from a stand-mount design.
The stand is a tribute to Italian artistry, combining black anodised aluminium columns with a base of genuine Carrara marble. The aluminium and marble are separated by a thin brass sheet, and the column is filled with damping material to suppress resonance. Iron/steel spikes couple the assembly firmly to the floor. The result is a support that adds stability while integrating cleanly with the refined aesthetic of the Heritage range.
A loudspeaker of this class is only as composed as the platform beneath it. The mass of the marble base and the damped aluminium column give the speaker a stable, well-anchored foundation, helping the cabinet do its job without unwanted movement or vibration colouring the sound. Correct height and rigid coupling let the speaker image and time as intended.
