The Sage Series C150i is a high-output in-wall line-source loudspeaker from Wisdom Audio. The C150i is built as slim architectural planar and bass sections that sit flush in the wall behind a paintable, colour-matched grille, with custom-length grilles available. As a true line source it avoids the bulk of a conventional full-range cabinet, so even at this output level it integrates cleanly into a room rather than imposing on it.

The Hidden Home view: Wisdom Sage C150i

The C150i brings the planar line source of Wisdom’s larger Sage L75 and L150 into a wall at a more compact height of about 50 inches. A planar column handles the midrange and treble. Two woofer arrays hold sixteen small high-pressure woofers, which Wisdom rates as equal to one 15 inch woofer, and the quoted response reaches down to 30 Hz.

Its grille is slim and can be painted to match the wall or made to a custom length. Behind it sits an active system, so each speaker needs five channels of amplification and an outboard crossover with DSP, which we calibrate for the room once the speakers are in.
