What the PS3 is

Gryphon PS3 is an optional internal MM/MC phono module for the Diablo 333 integrated amplifier. It is not a standalone phono stage. Specify installation and compatibility as part of the amplifier configuration.

Match the cartridge and connections

PS3 supports moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges and provides adjustable MC loading. The Diablo 333 manual describes balanced XLR phono connections, rear-panel MC loading switches and menu selection between MM and MC. Confirm cartridge output, recommended load, tonearm cabling and grounding before installation.

Internal module or an existing external phono stage?

An internal module can reduce the number of separate boxes. If you already own a phono stage you enjoy, retaining it through a line-level input may be the better system choice.
