Mola Mola MM/MC Phono Module for Makua & Kula

Description

This phono module adds cartridge-level vinyl playback to a compatible Mola Mola host. It is an internal option, not the standalone Lupe phono stage and not a complete preamplifier.

Cartridge matching and archival records

Independent MM and MC input stages provide adjustable gain, input resistance and capacitance. Selectable equalisation covers RIAA and a range of historical cutting curves, including many 78rpm recordings. These settings let you match the cartridge and record rather than relying on fixed loading and one equalisation curve.

Control through the host amplifier

Settings are controlled through the Mola Mola Remote app or stored presets. The host can route selected inputs through the phono stage, allowing configurations with more than one turntable or cartridge. The usable connections depend on whether the host is Makua or Kula.

Internal module or Lupe?

Choose the module to keep vinyl playback inside a compatible amplifier. Choose Lupe for a standalone phono stage with its own power supply and connections. A phono stage is not a digital converter and cannot feed a digital-only Tambaqui input.
