This is Red — the statement colour in the BW-2’s official Gabriel® wardrobe. It dresses the Lyngdorf BW-2 subwoofer — the compact sealed 10-inch model — in one of the five official Gabriel® colours, keeping the sub as presentable as the speakers it supports.

Colour & character

A deep woven red rather than a shiny scarlet, this cover makes the compact sub a deliberate accent — surprisingly chic beside neutral sofas and pale floors. If the system is part of the room’s character, the sub may as well join in.

The fabric

Gabriel of Denmark has been weaving since 1851, and its furniture-grade cloth covers speakers right across Lyngdorf’s ranges. On a subwoofer — a box that usually apologises for itself in a corner — the difference fabric makes is disproportionate.
