This is Petrol Blue — the richest colour offered for the BW-3. Cut for the Lyngdorf BW-3 subwoofer — Lyngdorf’s smallest, a sealed 7.25-litre box that hides almost anywhere — it is one of five official Gabriel® colours, so even the most tucked-away component can suit the room it serves.

Colour & character

Deep, blue-green and unmistakably textile, Petrol Blue makes a feature of a component most people hide. On a sub this compact the effect is charming rather than loud — a jewel-toned footstool that happens to produce 27Hz.

The fabric

Like the covers across Lyngdorf’s ranges, the cloth is woven by Gabriel of Denmark — a textile house working since 1851 — to furniture standard. A small sub spends its life at eye level with sofas and skirting; decent fabric is not a luxury there.
