About the D-5 and D-5 IC

The D-5 (in-wall) and D-5 IC (in-ceiling) are the compact models of Lyngdorf’s Discreet custom-install series, designed for surround and immersive ceiling positions — and capable enough to carry smaller rooms on their own. Like their D-series siblings they bring their own enclosure, so no back-box was ever needed behind them.

Why replace a grille

Ceiling grilles collect roller-splash and ladder knocks; wall grilles take the occasional chair. The speaker behind survives it all — the grille is the sacrificial, and replaceable, part.
