The Marten Dexter Statement Edition upgrade lifts a Dexter loudspeaker to its fullest expression — premium Jorma Statement internal wiring and higher-grade crossover components, with the drivers, cabinet and design unchanged.
The Statement Edition is the upgraded specification of Marten’s Dexter series — described by Marten as the fuller expression of the same design. It takes a standard Dexter loudspeaker and elevates its internal wiring and crossover components, so the speaker reaches a higher level of resolution and musicality while keeping the drivers, cabinet and voicing intact.
The Dexter series shares a carbon-fibre laminate faceplate and the Marten Isolator, features previously reserved for the maker’s flagship models. The Statement Edition builds on this foundation: it is offered across all four Dexter models (Duo, Trio, Quartet and Quintet), and differs from the standard version only in its wiring and crossover parts, not in its drivers or enclosure.
Because the drivers, cabinet and bass loading are shared with the standard Dexter, the Statement Edition delivers the same fundamental character — a first-order-derived, hard-membrane Marten sound — but with the extra transparency that comes from higher-grade signal-path components. The upgrade is aimed at listeners chasing the last increment of detail and musical expression.
