The Sonos Arc Ultra is the soundbar Sonos built when they wanted to compete at the top of the market. 14 drivers, including upfiring tweeters for real height channels. A 9.1.4 Atmos image from a single 1178mm bar. The new Sound Motion bass driver delivers low-end that previously needed a separate sub.

What it does

The Arc Ultra connects to the TV via HDMI eARC. It decodes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X internally. The 14-driver array gives discrete left, centre, right and height channels — not virtualised, actually fired in different directions. The Sound Motion bass driver replaces multiple cone woofers with a single high-output unit. The result is a soundbar that can fill a living room without a sub on day one.

Where it fits
