The Wisdom SAGE CINEMA POINT 3 GT is the sort of loudspeaker we specify when a cinema room needs a serious front-stage or surround solution without making the loudspeaker the visual focus. In a typical Bath cinema room it can sit behind an acoustically transparent screen, within a fabric wall, on-wall, in-wall or even in a ceiling position, giving us useful freedom when the architecture is fixed but the performance brief is not. Its ability to be mounted horizontally or vertically also helps when matching the front three channels around screen height and sightlines. We would normally pair it with suitably specified power amplification, a capable cinema processor and subwoofers integrated with proper bass management, rather than treating it as an isolated purchase. Setup is where the Point 3 GT earns its place: the custom angle bracket needs to be specified correctly at order stage, aiming has to be planned around the main seats, and final calibration should include level, delay, crossover and room EQ checks once the screen, fabric and furnishings are in place. Compared with smaller Sage Cinema Point options, we would choose the Point 3 GT where greater scale and authority are required, while still keeping the installation discreet and relatively straightforward because it can be run passively with one amplifier channel per loudspeaker.
