The on-wall version of Wisdom Audio’s Sage point-source loudspeaker, the P20m brings a planar-magnetic driver and twin woofers to a slim wall-mounted enclosure finished to blend into the room.
The Sage P20m is the on-wall model in Wisdom Audio‘s Sage point-source range — a bi-amplified planar-magnetic hybrid for rooms where an in-wall fit is impractical but the loudspeaker should still sit discreetly against the wall. It shares its engineering with the in-wall P20i and free-standing P20, and the three can be mixed and matched in one system.
The P20m mounts on the wall in a slim, architectural cabinet that can be finished in custom colours and lengths to suit the room’s joinery or wall covering. It measures 19.28 × 7.2 × 5.87 inches (H × W × D) and weighs 23 lb, delivering full-range performance without the depth of an in-wall installation.
Quoted frequency response is 40Hz–20kHz (±2dB relative to the target curve), with the planar driver covering the upper five octaves. Sensitivity is 87dB in both sections, giving the immediacy, resolution and dynamic ease characteristic of Wisdom’s planar hybrids.
A single planar-magnetic driver handles the top five octaves, with two 6-inch high-output woofers beneath for bass authority from a shallow on-wall enclosure. The design is bi-amplified and requires an outboard active crossover with DSP and two channels of amplification.
The planar-magnetic driver’s lightweight PEEK film membrane moves as a single surface with very low inertia, responding instantly to fine detail where a conventional cone cannot. Active DSP crossover means the speaker is calibrated to its exact position and to the acoustics of the room.
