The Sage Series S55i is an in-wall subwoofer from Wisdom Audio, designed to add fast, articulate low-frequency output to a system without any visible box in the room. It uses Wisdom’s Regenerative Transmission Line loading and four long-throw drivers to combine high output with the speed and tonality that make a subwoofer blend seamlessly rather than draw attention to itself.
The S55i is built to mount discreetly and flexibly — in-wall, in-ceiling, under risers, in closets or on the floor — with a paintable grille and bezel so it finishes flush and out of sight. An optional floor/ceiling extension port kit allows it to vent into the room from an adjacent space such as an attic, riser, closet or void, giving the installer real freedom in how and where it is placed.
The S55i is quoted with a response of 40 Hz–80 Hz (±3 dB relative to the target curve), a sensitivity of 90 dB/2.83 V/1 m and a maximum output of 112 dB at 40 Hz/1 m. The Regenerative Transmission Line design is what gives it its combination of quick, tuneful bass and genuine in-room authority from a slim in-wall format.

Driven by Wisdom’s outboard DSP, the S55i’s low end is shaped to the system’s target curve for consistent results across different rooms and mounting positions.
