The Sage Cinema Point 2 V2 is a point-source architectural loudspeaker from Wisdom Audio’s Sage series, designed for high-performance home cinema where the speakers are hidden from view. It is a planar-magnetic hybrid: a thin-film planar driver handles most of what you hear, complemented by a high-operating woofer for full-range reach behind the screen or wall.
The Point 2 V2 is built for concealed installation — on-wall, in-wall or in-ceiling, behind acoustically transparent screens or fabric walls. Its planar-magnetic driver can be rotated for horizontal or vertical mounting, and an angled version is offered for in-ceiling LCR, surround or immersive-audio positions, giving the installer flexibility to place it correctly in any room geometry.
A single planar-magnetic driver covers five octaves from one lightweight film membrane, giving the fast, low-mass transient response for which planar designs are prized, with the woofer extending output below. Quoted frequency response is 60Hz–20kHz, sensitivity 87dB, with peak power handling of 600W and continuous handling of 200W — ample headroom for cinema dynamics.
An all-passive crossover network lets the speaker be driven from a single amplifier channel, with no outboard DSP or PEQ required — simplifying the amplification and rack requirements of a multi-channel cinema.
