Lyngdorf’s BW-2 compact subwoofer in matte white with a grey Gabriel® fabric cover — a 10-inch long-throw driver and 400 watts of Class D in a sealed 14-litre box.
The BW-2 is the larger of Lyngdorf’s compact subwoofers — a sealed-box design pairing a serious 10-inch long-throw driver with 400 watts of Class D power. This matte white version with grey Gabriel® fabric cover is the choice for bright rooms, where it passes as a small piece of furniture rather than a black cube.
The closed cabinet is built entirely from MDF with a compact 14-litre internal volume — sealed-box bass, tight and quick, in a footprint that tucks beside or behind furniture. The grey cover is woven by Gabriel of Denmark, textile specialists since 1851, over a matte white shell.
Frequency response reaches from 25Hz to 200Hz through the line input — and up to 800Hz through the bypass input, which skips the internal filtering so an external processor or amplifier can manage the crossover. Maximum output is 106dB RMS: deep, composed bass rather than one-note thump.
The 10-inch long-throw driver runs a 50mm voice coil, a deep anodised aluminium cone and a 2.4kg vented magnet — genuine engineering at a compact scale — driven by a 400-watt RMS Class D amplifier.
A sealed enclosure trades a little raw output for control, speed and a naturally gentle roll-off that works with room gain — exactly the behaviour a music-first subwoofer wants. Partnered with Lyngdorf’s MH monitors and a RoomPerfect™-equipped amplifier, the whole system is calibrated to the room as one.
