This is the Black edition of the official Gabriel® cover for the FR-1. It is the official replacement and restyling cover for the Lyngdorf FR-1 loudspeaker — one of five Gabriel® colours Lyngdorf offers, so the speaker can change clothes when the room does.

Colour & character

Black-on-black is the FR-1 at its most invisible — the pairing supplied on the matte black speaker — while black fabric over a white cabinet creates a crisp, graphic contrast. Either way it is the room-disappearing choice.

The fabric

Gabriel of Denmark has woven textiles since 1851 and supplies the covers across Lyngdorf’s loudspeaker ranges — furniture-quality cloth designed to be seen and touched, not the disposable grille sock of ordinary speakers.
