This is the Grey edition of the official Gabriel fabric cover for the Lyngdorf FR-2 — Lyngdorf’s full-range loudspeaker built to stand flat against the wall. The cover gives the speaker a soft, upholstered face that turns an already discreet design into something closer to furniture.

Colour & character

Grey is the FR-2’s most versatile dress: a calm mid-tone that works over every cabinet colour in the range and blends with plaster, paint and textile walls alike. Where the bare baffles look crisp and architectural, the grey weave looks quiet and domestic.

The fabric

The cloth comes from Gabriel of Denmark — weaving since 1851, and the textile house behind the covers across Lyngdorf’s loudspeaker ranges. It is furniture-grade fabric intended to be seen in daylight, not a token grille sock.

Fit & use

Tailored specifically to the FR-2, the cover fits and removes cleanly, so switching between the dressed and undressed look — or between colours — takes moments. A useful refresh for an older pair, too.
