Lyngdorf TDAI-2210 Streaming Amplifier — Basic

Description

The Lyngdorf TDAI-2210 combines streaming, fully digital stereo amplification and RoomPerfect with a colour touchscreen. It sits between the compact TDAI-1120 and the more powerful TDAI-3400, offering a useful balance of cabinet size, connectivity and output power.

What the Basic configuration includes

The standard amplifier includes HDMI 2.1 eARC for a compatible television, USB-C audio, three coaxial and two optical digital inputs, and two RCA line inputs. A headphone socket and RCA and balanced XLR analogue outputs provide further connection options. Basic does not mean that TV connectivity or RoomPerfect is missing.

Choose the input module for your sources

There is one expansion slot: choose either the high-end analogue module, which adds MM phono and balanced XLR inputs, or the additional HDMI 2.1 module. They are alternative configurations, not two boards fitted together. A turntable needs a suitable external phono stage when using a standard line input, or the optional MM phono module for an appropriate cartridge.

RoomPerfect and everyday use

The touchscreen guides setup and provides access to the amplifier’s functions. RoomPerfect uses measurements from the supplied microphone to adapt the speaker system to the room. Streaming options include Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Roon Ready and Google Cast; check any essential service and firmware requirement with us before purchase.

TDAI-2210, TDAI-1120 or TDAI-3400?

Consider the TDAI-1120 when a smaller unit with built-in MM phono suits your speakers. Choose the TDAI-2210 for touchscreen control, USB-C and its higher power rating. Compare the TDAI-3400 when you need more power or both optional input-module types.
