The Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 is a fully digital integrated amplifier and streamer with RoomPerfect room correction — a flexible, modular reference component that adapts its sound to your room and to the rest of a system.
The TDAI-3400 is Lyngdorf’s flagship integrated amplifier — a fully digital design that combines amplification, digital-to-analogue conversion, streaming and the company’s RoomPerfect room-correction technology in one component. This is the Basic configuration, ready to be extended with optional input modules. Its purpose is simple: reference-grade sound tailored to the room it plays in.
The TDAI-3400 is a modular platform. The core amplifier is fully digital throughout, and its capabilities can be expanded through optional modules — including analogue and HDMI input boards — either at purchase or later. This Basic version provides the amplifier, streaming and RoomPerfect foundation, keeping the initial specification focused while leaving room to grow.
The TDAI-3400 delivers 2 × 200W RMS into 8 ohms and 2 × 400W RMS into 4 ohms, with a maximum output current of 40A — ample authority for demanding loudspeakers. Frequency response is ±0.5dB from 20Hz to 20kHz and total harmonic distortion is a maximum of 0.05% across the band. Amplification is 100% digital, avoiding a sound-degrading digital-to-analogue conversion in the signal path.
The defining feature is RoomPerfect, Lyngdorf’s room-correction system, which measures the room and removes its negative influence on the sound. It offers a Focus mode optimised for the main listening seat and a Global mode balanced for the whole room. Combined with streaming and high-current digital amplification, it makes the TDAI-3400 a complete source-to-speaker solution.
By keeping the entire signal path in the digital domain, the TDAI-3400 applies volume, correction and processing without the losses of repeated conversion. RoomPerfect builds a model of the room from a series of measurements and corrects for it, so the loudspeakers perform closer to their potential in a real space rather than an ideal one.
