Marten’s Parker Trio is a 2.5-way floorstander built around Accuton ceramic drivers in a tapered M-board cabinet — the accessible route into the Swedish brand’s transparent, low-colouration sound.
The Parker Trio is a floorstanding loudspeaker from Marten, the Swedish high-end brand known for ceramic-driver designs and low-colouration cabinets. A 2.5-way floorstander, it brings Marten’s core engineering — ceramic drive units and a heavily braced, tapered enclosure — into the more attainable Parker range.
The cabinet is built from 35mm M-board, Marten’s proprietary multi-layer laminate, with non-parallel, tapered sidewalls that narrow from back to front to disperse internal standing waves and minimise colouration. Each speaker stands 46 inches tall and weighs around 89lb (40kg), a solid, inert platform for the ceramic drivers.
Quoted frequency response is 26Hz–40kHz (±2dB), with 91dB sensitivity and a 6-ohm nominal impedance (3.1 ohms minimum), rated for up to 300W. The 2.5-way configuration and rear-firing passive radiators give real low-end weight and a fast, transparent, uncoloured presentation across the band.
The driver complement is a one-inch ceramic dome tweeter and two 7.5-inch ceramic mid/bass units, supported by a pair of rear-firing 9-inch aluminium passive radiators for extended bass without a large ported cabinet. The tweeter crosses to the mid/bass at 2.2kHz.
The ceramic drivers are made for Marten by Accuton and use neodymium magnet systems for control and low distortion. Ceramic diaphragms are exceptionally stiff and light, pushing resonance out of the audible band for a clean, detailed sound. The Parker Trio can also be upgraded to a Diamond edition with a diamond tweeter and uprated crossover and cabling.
