StormAudio

StormAudio specialises in immersive home-cinema electronics. At Hidden Home Technology, we specify its processors around the speakers, room, listening levels and control requirements first. Calibration is part of that design, not a substitute for it.

Choose the outputs and channel budget

The ISP Core 16 and Core 16+ offer compact routes into the platform. The ISP Elite MkIII offers configurable expansion, while the ISP Evo is a fully digital-output processor. The ISR Fusion 20 adds onboard amplification. These are different system architectures, not interchangeable boxes with different prices.

Count the physical outputs, subwoofer feeds and any active loudspeaker crossover ways as well as the decoded channels. Expansion, interfaces and licence options depend on the exact model and configuration; not every chassis is modular in the same way.

Manual control, integration and Dirac ART

StormAudio provides manual level, delay, crossover and parametric-EQ control, including 20 manual filter cells per output channel and REW measurement import. Essential active crossovers are distinct from optional corrective EQ. Read StormAudio beyond Dirac ART for our speaker-first approach, including why manual setup and technical support matter.

Dirac Live ART is an additional low-frequency tool, coordinating suitable speakers and subwoofers over Dirac’s specified 20–150 Hz range. It does not replace acoustic treatment or soundproofing. Confirm firmware, licence coverage and supporting-speaker capability for the unit being specified, especially for an existing installation.

StormAudio systems from Bath

Our StormAudio versus Trinnov guide compares system choices without declaring a universal winner. Hidden Home Technology designs, supplies, installs and calibrates cinemas from its Bath base.
