Chord Company

The Chord Company has been making some of Britain’s most respected cables and interconnects since 1985. The story began over dinner in Salisbury, when founder Sally Gibb spotted an opportunity to build better interconnects and started crafting the very first cables by hand at home. From those kitchen-table origins, The Chord Company has grown into an internationally renowned name, now based in a purpose-built headquarters in Wiltshire, not far from Stonehenge.

The company’s philosophy has always been refreshingly clear, to deliver cabling that is as neutral as possible, neither adding to nor taking away from the music. Early successes such as the Cobra and Chameleon interconnects built the brand’s reputation, and today The Chord Company offers a thoughtfully tiered range that can lift everything from a first real system to the most ambitious high-end setup. Good cables matter more than many people expect, and this is a brand that proves it.

Choosing the right cable is far easier when you can hear the effect for yourself. At Hidden Home Technology we enjoy helping listeners get the very best from their existing equipment with the right Chord Company cabling. Arrange an audition with us in Bath and let us demonstrate the difference.
